I am working on a raw diet to be offered hopefully by the first of the year. I will carry Chicken and Turkey for dogs to start with and soon to expand to raw for cats. I hope to have my license by the first of the year or very soon following the first. It will be called Featherfoot Raw. This also will only be offered in Michigan by delivery only. Perhaps in the future I will expand my shipping to other States. It is of the utmost importance to me for it to be as fresh as humanly possible and the foods that are currently on the market that are mass produced usually arrive with freezer burn. With the exception of Bravo who has great packaging to reduce this problem. How will my food be different? My food will be made to order, Will be either fresh slaughtered , or from the supermarket. It will be meat that is sold for humans, and the chicken will be with no antibiotics or hormones and the Turkey will be hormone free. Organic Chicken will also be available. The food will also contain a variety of vegetables and apple for fruit. It will be nutritionally complete however supplements should be added. The current foods even the best are the meat left over that cannot be sold for humans. I am very excited about this new venture in the expansion of Featherfoot All Natural Pet. Healthy foods for your pets of the utmost importance to me and have always been my biggest priority.
Late last year we expanded our products to ebay. We also sell some attic treasures and books related to just about everything. Our prices are regrettably higher on ebay for our pet products due to ebay charges and fees.
This year I will also be offering consultations on diet and health for you pets. I am also a very gifted energy healer and am currently attending school to be a Naturopathic Doctor. Which will just add to my experiences with human healing and animal healing. I can do energy healing and consultations for your pets at a distance. I have graduated from several energy healing programs. Esoteric Healing, Polarity Energy Healing, & Reiki Healing just to name a few. Please note I am not a Veterinarian and you will be required to see a Vet first if your pet is seriously ill. I have experience with herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies, and flower essences and use them in the healing process. My fee will be $40.00 for a session. Please be aware all healing methods including regular medicine is not an exact science and your animal may still die as a result of its illness. Natural medicine is just another avenue to help and heal if possible and without the side effects of allopathic medicine.

These are the foods that are poisonous I will include the plants in another newsletter.Unless they are plants that are in the house I have never seen a dog or any animal eat a plant outside that is not good for them. That doesn't mean that it never happens however I have had many animals and they have never eaten a plant that is poisonous to them. Unless they are confined to the house and the plant is in the house and they become very bored. That is the exception. When animals don't have enough exercise, are left alone for long periods of time they will do things they would not normally do. I will include a list of Poisonous plants in my next issue.
